Now who in their right & sain minds would go out there in the world and chase a tornado/twister? Twisters is the accurate name for the film because that is what everyone was chasing – twisters simply because there was more than one and everyone had a specific plan in mind when it came to following the twisters & was to find a solution to preventing them from causing so much damage and chaos. If you have a strong will – and a dedication and a fight for survival and your willingness to fight for change and find solutions; then THIS is the film for you! Hands off or down! Period!
The Hotel Evacuation
Kate & Tyler had a hotel scene in the movie that should have been shot and seen in 3D because it would have been simply amazing to see! To see this movie in 3D would be stunning if you have the opportunity. I will not lie to you. In this scene, you will observe Kate leading some hotel guests to a safe evacuation location went the tornado strikes down on the hotel. Kate has the instinct to predict which direction the twisters will come, the path, strength, etc. She has a gift. It is a wrong gift to have in my opinion, but hey, this is just a movie, but we cannot choose our talents and gifts now, can we?
Wildin’ Out Tyler
Tyler is that character in the movie that you have to love! You can’t help but love Tyler who is played by the very talented Glen Powell! When he enters the movie, he is surrounded by all types of other types of weather-type phenomenon, and his adventurous type is just captured on screen as the wild man that he is in real life as we all already know and love! Tyler adds that rough exterior to the movie and takes adventure and living on the edge to a new level and isn’t afraid to get his hands caught in a twister and ride it out and through and through!
The Circling Conclusions
I enjoyed the movie. It was very wild and twisty, and most importantly – there was a very valuable lesson to be learned while watching it. Kate was an experiment and was trying to find a way to help cities and nations cope with Twisters strike and how to lessen the blow and the impact/s and severity of the blows and that is something to be proud of. The work and dedication that it took to investigate storms and the weather as she dedicated herself to helping millions of people as she did.
Just saw this the other day. Ash and I enjoyed this sequel much more than the original film. Like you, we felt the characters were more interesting in this sequel. We must be honest, here in Oklahoma F 5/ F 4 tornadoes don’t appear out of thin air like they did in this movie. They are predicted at least one full day before any storms occur. Besides that, we enjoyed this movie! Nice review Trav!

Can’t wait to see! My son went on Tuesday and I could go. So we’re going next week and I’m actually paying for the RPX !!! Never done it before, and it’s all in reading about, so I’m sticking it up and paying the 16 bucks! So glad it’s good!!!
